Valuing People launches and the Learning Disability Partnership Boards are set up.
In 2002 the following took place
People With Learning Disabilities start delivering volunteer training with staff
‘Speaking up for other’ group is set up and members attend the local Learning Disability Partnership Board meetings where plans about local services for people with learning disabilities are discussed
2 Service users join Speak Out’s Management Committee for the first time.
“Our Lives On film ” a user led film is made about the lives of 4 people with learning disabilities
