In 2012 the following events took place:
Speak Out starts to offer advocacy to people with learning disabilities who need support to make a complaint about health services (IHCAS)
Speak Out achieves the National Quality Performance Mark for advocacy (QPM)
‘Train the Trainer’ Course is run. 10 new trainers begin work alongside Speak Out staff delivering regular Disability Awareness training.
Consultation work takes place via focus groups, interviews and outreach
