Speak Out East

Drop-In for Kemptown and Whitehawk

As of September 2021, most of our drop in session will go back to being face to face. This is always dependent on the Covid number remaining low. Some drop in sessions may take place outside, in a venue in Brighton or upstairs in the Brighthelm, but we will not be having any drop in sessions in the basement of the Brighthelm Centre.

If you regularly attend our drop in sessions, you will be contacted to come along. If you are new, please contact us on 01273 421921 for more information.

Some people come for a friendly chat and a cup of tea.

Some people come each week for a friendly chat and a cuppa.

Other people come to get involved in activities. Sometimes we put on workshops like singing, art, and drumming which are very popular.

We also talk about things that matter to us and find out what’s going on in the local area

We also talk about things that matter to us and find out what’s going on in the local area.

People from local organisations sometimes come and tell us what’s happening in the city. We can share our views with them.  We also have links with our local councillor.

You can also get one-to-one advocacy to help with a problem. We can make calls, send emails and write letters to help you sort a problem.

We hope to see you soon.
