Christmas Eve, a time of happy anticipation, of hopes and of sharing.
If we can do that at Christmas, how is it that we live in a world where the some people are still abused and disrespected for who they are?
People with learning disabilities encounter this behaviour every day and 56% of disabled incidents to the community safety team who reassured him and gave him options for how to deal with these incidents. Ewan says he feels better for taking action and it’s made him realise that he doesn’t have to deal with this alone.
He should not have to deal with them at all.
