Speak Out’s Christmas Appeal – 7th Day of Christmas

Get the Good Will Factor – Stop the cuts to Learning Disability services.

“I hope we can show more people that people with learning disabilities matter, and that the government will listen to us more in 2020”

People with learning disabilities have been disproportionately affected by government cuts to social care; Key services have been cut or reduced nation-wide, leaving many of those affected even more isolated and vulnerable.

The Being Heard in Government group at Speak Out have campaigned to raise awareness of how these cuts affect people’s lives; as Day Centres close and community support for people reduces many people with learning disabilities are losing contact with friends and are struggling to manage day to day. Campaigning with the support of Brighton and Hove Speak Out, has enabled local people with learning disabilities to highlight these issues and the need to maintain vital support services.

As we celebrate our 25th anniversary help us help more people with learning disabilities speak up for their rights – and make good will something they experience ALL year round.

Donate just £7 today or £1 (or more if you’d like to) for every day of Advent to help us support people with learning disabilities to have their voice heard.

Thank you
