Work(able) – an exhibition on working with a learning impairment.
On Friday, 23rd November, Peter, who is part of Speak Out’s Wednesday morning speaking up group and Liz, who runs the group, went to Diana Ramsey’s private view at the Jubilee library.
The exhibition was of photos taken of the people Diana worked with for her thesis ‘Work(able) – working with a learning impairment.’ She came and interviewed the Wednesday morning speaking up group a couple of years ago as part of her research about the jobs they had done in the past.
Peter used to work on a farm looking after the cows!
